We are still going. Many maker spaces around the country have closed, but we are doing okay.

We have had a surge of interest lately, and when we get an mail, we set up a one-on-one appointment for a tour. Everyone must wear a mask when in the space, and that also means no eating. Members coordinate use of tools so that one person is in a room at a time. Socialization is discouraged, and of course open house nights are still cancelled. That is sad, because one of the great things about us is the community.

We have two monthly MeetUps on Jitsi (like Zoom but open source and free with no time limits). These are open to anyone through MeetUp. We call them electronics and coding, but conversation always slides from one to the other. We tried doing a general open house, but it did not work; People need a topic. We may try again soon, or maybe we will have a game night with JackBox games.

We have the new CNC router by Avid running but we need to get training set up. It is more complicated than anything else we have. You need to know stuff.

We are trying to get a ramp system to make our space more accessible. It is an old building. We also want to be able to move the ramp when we eventually have to move.
